Dan Riley
Dan was introduced to WWYP as a volunteer mentor in the EforAll Greater Worcester Business Accelerator. Dan uses his 30+ years of experience in performance development, information management, human resource management, leadership, sales force training, contingency planning, and port security to help his private, public sector and military clients achieve extraordinary results.
His U. S. Coast Guard career included an assignment as Chief of the National Port Security School, as well as various Division Chief positions at the U.S. Coast Guard District staff level. These assignments called on his experience in marine safety, marine environmental protection, port security, training and team development. Dan brought these unique experiences from his military career into a Human Resource Management position in the staffing industry as well as into his role as Senior Custom Project Manager/Designer for AchieveGlobal, the world’s largest performance improvement company.
Dan has developed and implemented sales, customer service, performance management and leadership solutions for a wide variety of industries, as well as custom training programs for the staffing industry, government agencies,, port security for the military, contingency response, project management, process review and quality management techniques,
Customer organizations he has worked with include AT&T, US Air Force, US Army Cadet Command, Coach, Deloitte, Citizens Bank, PC Connection, Encompass Insurance, GE Consumer Finance, Heineken USA, Liberty Mutual, Prudential Financial, SAP, Terex, Travelers Insurance, Tyco Electronics, and Unilever.
Dan earned a B.A. degree in Political Science from Providence College and an MBA in Financial Management and Information Resource Management from Babson College.
